2023 Sheeran Scholarship

Dade County AGRI Council, Inc.

Purpose: To encourage undergraduate students to pursue careers in plant science or a closely related field. This does not​ include pre-vet.

Eligibility​​: 
 1. The JoAnn Dellinger scholarship is open to any student entering
 an institution of higher learning who is a graduate of a high 
 school in Miami-Dade County. The Sheeran scholarship is also
 open to current undergraduate students. 

 2. The student must be pursuing a degree in the plant sciences or a 
 closely related field. 

 3. The student must have a 3.0 or higher Grade Point Average 
 (G.P.A.), which is verified by their school. 

 4. Either full time or part time students are eligible for this
​ scholarship.

Requirements: 
1. Complete the attached scholarship application in full. 

2. Complete an essay of up to 100 words stating career goals and future plans. 


3. Include at least one letter of recommendation, with a contact telephone number, from a teacher at your current school.
